loyalty

this week in sunday school we talked about loyalty and the difference between an excuse and a reason. one of my friends was commenting about loyalty and how if you make plans w/ someone you should keep them. well that same friend didnt keep her commitment to something we had planned on doing. and because she decided to go somewhere else, i couldnt go to where we were supposed to go. you guys, if you make a plan w/ someone, please keep it. if you dont it can really make the other person feel so hurt and feel like you cant trust them anymore. i just thought i would share my experience w/ it.

I know what you mean Dance _ Dance. We adults are quilty of the samething. I have to omitt there have been moments when I made a commitment to do something and something unexpected came up later that made it impossible to keep my commitment. When that happens sometimes you just can't help it. It is important that we do everything possible to get word to the one we made a commitment to. There had been times where I failed to do that because time got away from me, but no excuse. It was bad.

Commitments are important. Hurt feelings can happen and it can cause bad problems with others schedules. God help me not to do that again. God help all of us not to do it.

Maybe we should place a topic about loyality on this forum and see how important it really is to others. What do you think ?
