yes that did happen:(...but everyone just keep yall's prayers up! i'm sure everything will be okay....cause they might get a better house and stuff....just keep your faith up to!!! people from the rock are helping them out... last night they took them out to eat...and then to walmart to get some stuff! soo....just keep praying for them....

i heard that people were working on getting them some clothes and furniture....ummm...i'm getting abby a pony doll thing....no idea what to get anyone else, lol. i think i might get them some cd players and cds so they will have something to do. maybe some books just random stuff.

i finally got to see them today:) where they are staying is really nice. i got jessie a present, its a cd player. so everyone can get them cds or whatever. i would get jenny, paul, and andy something but i have no idea what to get them....yeah God is working real hard:) its paying off:)

Hey, people. I posted this on the old forum, but it appears that most everyone is on this one now... Anyway... Here's more detail on what's going on. If you need to get in touch with us. The number, as of now for most of the family is (256) 704-1921. That could change soon, and we're all usually running around all day, but that's the number to their room.
Hey, everyone! This is Robert. None of us have internet access where we're at, so I thought I would let people know what's going on. My parent's church has put them up in a disaster relief facility. It's basically a hotel for the needy. The house and its contents are covered on the insurance, so most of our stuff will be replaced with relative ease. The Christmas presents are already nearly all replaced, and people have been giving us money and clothes for nearly two days straight.
We lost three cats in the fire, and it's really very sad. They really were part of the family, but we did find Bernie, our border collie, under the house. And he is staying with the neighbors now. He misses us and tries to come with us, but he'll be able to come home soon, as soon as we figure where it'll be.
Thank you to everyone who gave us clothes and money and bought Christmas presents for us. Thank you to everyone who offered us a place to stay. I'm afraid some with think we've ignored them because there's really an army of people who have offered or given us one or all of the things I mentioned. But the truth is there are so many people who have been so kind to us, I don't think we can keep up with them.
We are still going to have a merry Christmas. We'll miss some stuff and our cats, but we still have each other and a whole lot of friends and neighbors, some of whom we didn't even know before.
Thanks dance_dance for your post and sending the word out to pray for us and thanks for coming by the hotel a few days ago with your dad.
Come by any time. We will be staying at the hotel for a while longer until the house is ready to move into. That will help Paul and Jesse. They seem far away from everything.
my sister had an idea about a great "gift". there was an awesome desk in pauls room with alot of great memories, we could buy another one and start some new memories:) tell me what everyone thinks about that idea
